Reverse the Red Day

Reverse the Red Day is

an annual celebration of all of the conservation work our collective community is doing to reverse trends of biodiversity loss - those shown through negative slides on the Red List of Threatened Species.

Biodiversity conservation deserves to be in the conversation with habitat and climate movements.

Join us in celebrating Reverse the Red Day!

Below you’ll find a slide deck full of all the activities for the day as well as a link to the toolkit. Please consider sharing your conservation impact and species success stories with the hashtag #ReverseTheRedDay all day on February 7. More will be added as we get closer to the date!

Species Pledge Video Contest

Organisations who have made or are planning to make a Reverse the Red Species Pledge are welcome to join our Pledge Contest by submitting a short video by January 15. From February 1 - February 7, the public will be invited to vote on these videos and we encourage you to share them with your members, networks, visitors, etc. Videos should include what your pledge was, what you did in the last year, and what your goals are for the next year.
