Kelsey Neam, Species Priorities and Metrics Coordinator at Re:wild, works closely with the Lost Species team to develop interactives, maps, and other statistic visuals that help promote deep collaborations among our partners. Eric Schneider, Senior Research Scientist at the Cape Eleuthera Institute, will explain his work populating a comprehensive list of lost sharks, the key tool in launching Re:wild’s newest taxa initiative. Lauren Schmuck, Wildlife Biologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada, will provide insights into her work compiling rediscovery announcements and verifying last seen dates for the most difficult data deficient species.
